I remember playing a prototype of it years ago back on the TIG Source forums. Props to the developer for sticking with it!Side-scrolling inventory adventure games have become a lot bigger lately (The Cat Lady, Case & Clownbot), and this brings a nice, clean art style and streamlined interface to the table. A lot of the interface is kept behind the curtain leaving you to simply pick items up and talk to people to solve various quests, as well as leaping back and forth through time.It's really short, about an hour in length, but you're not paying $60, alright?? It's nice when a game ends right before its concept starts to wear thin, and Tick Tock Isle pulls it off.. Very funny little game with a lovely artstyle!. If you\'re having a bad day and just want to sit back and play a cheap but still charming and lighthearted game to lift your spirits, I would definitely recommend this for you. As short and simple it was I quite enjoyed this little game. The characters are distinct, the graphics are nice and the music is quite cute. I really enjoyed spotting the references hidden in there, like Doctor Who, Shakespeare and a few others I noticed. But I\'ll let you find the others yourself. I hope I didn\'t miss any! I hate missing out on references.. Pop culture nostalgia at its best. This is a wonderful short game that will make an evening incredibly enjoyable and remind you of the days when SNES was out. It's an adventure game that's easy to pick up and a lot of fun. Plus the music is wonderful. You can tell this was made with love and all the subtle pop culture references were icing on the cake.. A short little game (~1 hour) about time travel. Play as Spike, the clock repairman, who has arrived on Tick Tock Isle to repair an old clocktower. However, not all is as it seems... jump through different time periods to solve everyone's problems and get the clock up and working, as well as back to your own time!Overall, an interesting game that felt more like a point-and-click even though it's all played with the keyboard. Typical problems with it that I have with most games of this genre - lots of back and forth. Run across the map for one item, and then back across for another that you have now unlocked. Only made worse by the jumping between timezones :P Overall, though, it's a small area, so nothing too bad. Definitely a fun little game to try out :)
